PROUD TO SUPPORT THOSE WHO SERVE

The Armed Forces Covenant is a pledge that together we acknowledge and understand that those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, should be treated with fairness and respect in the communities, economy and society they serve with their lives.

Its two principles are that, recognising the unique obligations of, and sacrifices made by, the Armed Forces:
  • Those who serve in the Armed Forces, whether Regular or Reserve, those who have served in the past, and their families, should face no disadvantage compared to other citizens in the provision of public and commercial services.
  • Special consideration is appropriate in some cases, especially for those who have given most such as the injured and the bereaved.
Amvale Medical Transport Ltd are proud to have signed the Covenant and made our pledge in support of our brave men and woman who continue to serve, and have served, to protect our country.

Since 2017 Amvale Medical Transport Ltd are proud to have been the main sponsor for the Our Stars awards for North Lincolnshire & Goole NHS Foundation Trust.

The awards are held in the Baths Hall in Scunthorpe, usually in November of each year.  The awards are a reflection of all the hard work and dedication of all the staff within the Trust and on the night there is formal recognition of those individuals and teams who go the extra mile to make a real difference to others and the exceptional things they do as simply part of their daily job.

The Trust believes in recognising the contribution of each member of their team and highlighting their achievements which is vital in boosting staff morale.  The annual staff awards ceremony is a night of celebration where the Trust showcases the innovation and dedication of their patient focused staff.

The awards took a break from 2019 through the Covid-19 period and restarted again in December 2023.  The evening is always a great success and Amvale Medical Transport Ltd are extremely proud and honoured to have the opportunity to present their nominated award to the winner each year.

We at Amvale Medical Transport Ltd would add our own congratulations to all the finalists and winners of the awards and we would also add that for all those staff within the Trust that may not have been formally mentioned, you are all still winners, every day.

Thank you for everything you do.
